3RD ROOM - ASPECTS OF THE WORLD

 

This space features a large wooden support representing the coffered ceiling of the refectory portrayed in Leonardo’s painting and a theatrical mirrored floor.The original ceiling presents images of the most characteristic places in Milan and the surrounding area during Leonardo’s lifetime and reflects them onto the floor.The spectator is immersed and symbolically becomes a part of these places as he or she passes over a mirrored footbridge.
